Job Title: Architectural Designer
Job Description:
+ Report to the firm Principals and the Project Manager on various projects.
+ Responsible for producing full project documents through all phases of the project, from initial design through construction observation.
+ Coordinate with internal project teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure the project meets expectations and timelines.
+ Assist with mentoring junior team members if needed.
Work Environment:
Office: 27 people at the firm.
HYBRID schedule: 4 days in office, 1 remote (consistent day preferred).
Flexible hours: start anytime after 7:00 AM and complete an 8-hour workday.
Summer hours: half days on Fridays for those who meet their 40-hour work week.
Open company culture with a mix of outgoing and introverted team members. They host occasional team activities such as walks to Starbucks, office pumpkin carving, and holiday lunches.
The bulk of the project load is in the educational and municipal sectors, with some commercial projects throughout the year. The firm handles an average of 50-75 projects annually.
