About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Designer/Drafter to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with 3–6 years of architectural experience who is passionate about design and eager to support the creation of high-quality architectural drawings. The Senior Designer plays a crucial role in the development of projects from pre-design to construction administration while collaborating with internal teams and external consultants.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design Development: Contribute to programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Revit Expertise: Create and maintain accurate Revit models, address redlines, and produce sheet layouts.
  • Field Work: Conduct site surveys, take field measurements, and participate in construction site visits.
  • Coordination: Work closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams, including HY Interiors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Construction Support: Assist with RFIs, submittals, change documents, and as-built documentation during the construction phase.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support building code analysis, take meeting minutes, and assist with formatting specifications and jurisdictional forms.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of relevant architectural experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of California building codes, ADA, and architectural detailing.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with site surveys, field measurements, and construction administration preferred.
