CDL CLASS A DEDICATED TRUCK DRIVER – LOCAL/REGIONAL.

Local and Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver

Stellar Express is a family-owned business that has built an amazing reputation locally as well as on a national level. Located in Owensboro, KY – we specialize in hauling soybean oil and glycerin for some of the largest manufacturers in the US. Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our customers by being committed to safety, being reliable and providing excellent customer service to our dedicated customer base.

Stellar Express is currently looking for Local and Regional drivers.

Pay and Home Time:

• Earn an average of $75k-$85k/year with the potential to make much more! Top drivers can earn $90k+ yearly
• Earn an average income of $1300-$1500/week with top drivers making more
• Home most nights with out and back freight
• Multiple shifts available and off 2 weekends per month
• $1100 Transition Pay
• Weekend premium ($50.00/load)
• $5000 sign on bonus for new drivers
• Unlimited driver referral bonus - $2000 per driver
• Quarterly safety bonus

• Rider policy available
• Orientation and tanker training paid per hour
• Tanker endorsement required (we will reimburse if hired)

Tasks and duties include (but are not limited to):

• Maintain company vehicles with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Driving the vehicle safely to your required destination and adhering to the customer’s requirements
• Maintaining an accurate Elog, following FMCSA rules and regulations as well as accurately completing trip reports and other documentation
• Strong customer service & communication skills with dispatch, customers and colleagues

To successfully secure an opportunity to work with us, you must:

• Hold a Valid Class A CDL in the state in which you reside
• Have 12 or more months tractor/trailer experience (minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience)
• Over the age of 21
• The ability to pass a DOT physical, ergo test and drug screen
• Have a good MVR and safe driving record
