About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to play a pivotal role in defining and executing its marketing strategy. The CMO will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, including branding, digital marketing, content management, and eCommerce, with a focus on client-facing channels. This leadership position demands a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 15 years' of experience in marketing within biopharma, diagnostic, or life science industries, and a proven track record in senior marketing or product manager roles. Experience in high-growth environments, particularly within private equity, is highly valued. The successful candidate will be adept at client segmentation, branding, and messaging, and will have a strong background in market research, marketing communications, and team leadership. The CMO will work closely with the CEO and other business leaders to align marketing efforts with the company's growth strategies. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the overall marketing roadmap, creating annual marketing plans, and leading a team of marketing professionals. The role also involves driving proactive communication programs, market research, and enhancing the company's website to support lead generation and eCommerce. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the biotech and life science tools landscape, and experience with Salesforce.com. Proven leadership in managing remote teams, as well as a strong background in digital marketing and eCommerce, is essential. The CMO will be expected to have a strong analytical mindset, be adept at managing a marketing budget, and have the ability to develop and track marketing KPIs to optimize performance.
