NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. Senior Cognitive Retraining Specialist - Bridgewater/Orange/Newark/Paramus/Kearney areas FULL TIME OR PART TIME - Make your own schedule - Super flexible!! Do you have experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or with mental health issues? Bring your commitment to helping others and your interpersonal skills to a team-based workplace that puts people first. As Senior Cognitive Retraining Specialist, you'll play an important role in helping the company achieve its mission of providing quality services to the individuals we serve.
- Coordinate services provided to individuals served, assess the continuing need for cognitive therapeutic services at an individual's current level of care and ensure quality of care delivered.
- Provide case management and rehabilitation services to individuals served in their homes and in community-based settings.
- Assess referred individuals and lead development of service plan in conjunction with treatment team and funding sources in accordance with corporate, contractual, and regulatory standards.
- Create, coordinate, and evaluate service plans through partnerships with stakeholders based on assessed needs.
- Maintain current and complete case and reporting records in accordance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Assist with all legal, licensing, regulatory, and certification activities as needed.
- Participate in rotational on-call system and assist with emergency coverage and crisis intervention support as needed.
- Participate in all activities designed to enhance and build an active social network of mentors.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in human services
- 1+ years of experience in the field working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health issues.
- Licensure and/or certification in field required as determined by site contractual agreement and state standards.
- Current driver's license in good standing, car registration, and auto insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect information from different sources.
