Note: Shamrock Ranch is up for sale, so please consider these positions temporary. Please don't let that discourage you from applying, though, as this could still be a great opportunity for you to gain useful experience working with dogs, and we continue to operate normally until we hear otherwise. Work permit required for applicants under 18 years of age.

DOG WALKER

• Holidays required
• Part-time, usually no more than 3 hours per shift
• Pay starts at $17.46 per hour
• Prior experience with dogs ideal but not necessary

PLAYCARE ATTENDANT

• Holidays required
• Part-time, with shifts usually being 4-6 hours long
• Pay starts at $21.00 per hour
• Prior GROUP experience with dogs ideal but not necessary, as we'll train you

PLAYCARE SUPERVISOR/MANAGER

• Holidays and weekends required
• Part-time to start, with shifts likely being 4-6 hours long (full-time possible)
• Pay starts at $24.23 per hour
• Prior GROUP experience with dogs ideal but not necessary, as we'll train you
• Prior supervisory/managerial experience necessary

Regardless of the position, we expect you to

• Adapt and respond to situations quickly as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Have an interest in the dogs' wellbeing
• Know when to ask questions and when to ask for help
• Know or eventually learn a lot about dogs and their behaviors
• Understand that we accept dogs of all breeds and temperaments
• Work independently or with other people as needed

Dog walkers will

• Provide boarding dogs with scheduled activities
• Report concerns or issues to management
• Scoop poop

Playcare attendants will

• Ensure a clean, safe play environment with access to rest areas, shade, and water
• Evaluate new Playcare dogs (once trained to do so)
• Monitor and interact with groups of off-leash dogs
• Provide non-Playcare dogs with scheduled activities as coverage requires
• Report concerns or issues to management and/or dogs' owners as needed
• Take boarding dogs to/from Playcare yards

Playcare supervisor and/or manager will do everything Playcare attendants do AND

• Handle scheduling needs for Playcare (and for dog walking as needed)
• Interview, hire, and train Playcare attendants as needed
• Supervise Playcare attendants
