Voltec Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of electrical projects for Voltec Solutions, LLC, a state-wide electrical contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to prepare accurate and thorough electrical estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and develop cost estimates
• Identify potential cost savings opportunities and value-engineering options to optimize project profitability
• Maintain current knowledge of electrical materials, labor, and equipment costs to accurately estimate project costs
• Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for bidding purposes
• Assist in the development of project proposals and presentations to clients
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project kick-off meetings as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and industrial projects
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Accubid or McCormick
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
