Job Description Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join our team, focusing on troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electronic, electrical, and mechanical components of automated pavement measurement equipment. The role involves participating in the design, fabrication, and procurement of data measurement systems, maintaining equipment inventory, and assisting in data processing and analysis. The ideal candidate will also prepare and deliver presentations, write operation manuals, and develop equipment specifications. Additionally, you will participate in testing, calibration, and correlation of pavement data measurement systems, ensuring all tasks are performed with minimal supervision while adhering to standard practices. Skills and Requirements Previous knowledge of working on trailers o Replacing tires, wheel bearings, and maintenance on trailer breaks Experience working with control computers Experience working with hydraulic systems (I.E. bleeding hydraulic systems) - Basic understanding of road surfaces (I.E. texture components of roads) Basic understanding of a 3D camera (how the lasers in the camera work) Pay range: $20-30/hr null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
