TriMarc Installation, a Division of Atlanta Design Group, based in Norcross, GA, has immediate openings for a Lead Furniture Installer for our local furniture installation team. TriMarc Installation is a “white-glove” installation service catering to the Interior Design trade delivering and installing furniture, accessories, artwork and mirrors for Interior Designers for model homes, residential and commercial projects. The Lead Installer is charged with resolving issues related to installation while exhibiting a polite, helpful, positive attitude and professional image with public, clients, end users, and crew members. Candidate must be clean-cut, speak clear English, polite and show a willingness to work under pressure. You are the face of the company and you will do the most lifting so being personable, as well as strong, is a must.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage associate installer through delivery, staging, installation and cleanup.
• Possess strong communication skills and can effectively communicate changes of scope of work with fellow teammates, project managers, Customer Service, customers and most importantly to our end users.
• Have a strong work ethic, problem solving skills and the ability to work alone and as a team.
• Committed to making every effort to complete every job with 100% accuracy and zero mistakes.
• This position has varying hours and requires a flexible schedule M-F, availability for overtime work when applicable. No weekend work.
• Load necessary equipment, materials and product onto truck; distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and utilizing space
• Measure, square, align, and adjust structural components to ensure furniture is installed according to specifications
• Ensure customer concerns are resolved quickly and effectively * Prevent damage to equipment and furniture by following recommended guidelines * Other duties as assigned
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, blue prints, floor plans and installation drawings. * Able to write simple correspondence on delivery tickets * Proficient in the use of hand tools, such as power drill, tape measure, etc.
• Provide on-site supervision of employees involved in the project and monitor quality of work
• Supervise the job site to meet or exceed all safety requirements
• Ensure product inventories and equipment are properly coordinated and accounted for to maximize site hours.
• Assist in training less experienced installers
• Demonstrate competence related to writing installation and problem reports

Experience, Education, and Skills Required:

• (2) years’ experience driving a delivery truck preferred
• (2) years’ experience assembling and servicing furniture preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Extremely organized and excellent time management skills
• Flexible with frequently changing priorities and deadlines
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT Physical and obtain a DOT Class B license.
• Must be able to lift consecutively throughout a days work.
• Have own tools is a PLUS
• Drive company vehicle and maintain clear driving record
• Responsible for all company property assigned to individual
• Adhere to all safety and installation policies and procedures
• Ensure written paperwork is complete and accurate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
• There is a minimum of 2 years moving company and 1-year truck driving experience necessary to apply as a driver.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift, lower, push or pull furniture up to and in excess of 100lb (with assistance if needed)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Possess a clean, neat, and professional appearance
• Serve customers with a high level of courtesy
• Apply troubleshooting abilities to solve potential customer service issue
• Must be able to solve problems in the field and think outside the box
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a lead position. Compensation based on experience.

Educational Qualifications/Experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
