Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Solution Management: Lead the ongoing management and configuration of Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and alignment with security best practices.
•Align Baseline Security and Intune Deployment & Support Processes, including the use of Autopilot to install security software and mandated applications.
•Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Endpoint Management, Microsoft Defender, and Intune technologies, providing guidance on deployment, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Defender and Intune tools.
•Support and manage shared service technologies, MDM, Data Center, and Cloud Systems Maintenance.
- Enforcement of and compliance of Smithers IT policies
- Support Remote Hands and Vacation and Holiday Coverage, ensuring uninterrupted IT operations.
Qualifications: •Experience working with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Defender.
•Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing endpoint solutions.
•Strong understanding of Autopilot, conditional access policies, endpoint security concepts, including malware prevention, detection, and response, endpoint detection and response (EDR), group policy expertise and endpoint management
•Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and orchestration of endpoint tasks.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal partners, understand their requirements, and articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
•Experience desired in Microsoft Defender for non-Microsoft environments (MacOS, Linux, iOS)
•Experience in Azure Security Center and Cloud Security Analytics
