Job Description The Department of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks applications for dynamic teaching scholars to join our department. Specifically, we are interested in applicants who can share their passion and commitment to epidemiology with students in and outside the classroom, at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Required Qualifications Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a closely related field with formal training in epidemiology.
Preferred Qualifications Applicants with experience and/or training in public health practice are strongly encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching is required for this position. This can take the form of previous experience developing and teaching courses (independently or as a teaching assistant/secondary instructor) or extensive experience preparing and delivering education programs.
