Senior Social Media & Content Manager

Overview:

Alliance Health System is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Social Media Manager to grow and enhance our social media presence across Alliance Orthopedics, Alliance Health System, and affiliated profiles. This role is ideal for an experienced social media strategist with a strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and project management. The Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing digital content, and leveraging advanced photography and videography skills to create engaging content. Most importantly, they must see storytelling on social media as a creative art form.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage all social media and reputation platforms under the Alliance Health System Managed Services Organization. Develop and execute strategies to build and maintain a strong social media presence.
  • Content Creation: Utilize advanced photography, videography, and editing skills to create high-quality content, including patient journeys, event recaps, and promotional materials. Capture and edit content to align with brand messaging and goals.
  • Digital Marketing: Plan and implement digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, and content copy across all brands. Develop and execute virtual events such as Facebook Live events, podcasts, live streams and contests.
  • Content Planning: Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar driven by a strong strategy and target. Facilitate the creation and approval process of content, coordinating with graphic designers, marketing team members, and outsourced vendors.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including advertisements, post boosting, and performance analysis. Measure and report on campaign performance, optimizing strategies to meet goals and KPIs.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple social media outlets and digital marketing projects simultaneously. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely execution and high-quality results.
  • Engagement: Maintain digital reputation by engaging with followers, responding to reviews, and managing online interactions. Foster relationships with external vendors and thought leaders.
  • Creative Innovation: Share and implement creative ideas for marketing strategies, social media content, and digital presence. Continuously seek new growth strategies and trends to enhance user experience.
  • Content Development: Write and manage copy for various digital and print platforms, including advertisements, brochures, press releases, and marketing materials. Ensure all content adheres to editorial and branding guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, with a proven track record in content creation, campaign management, and project execution.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
    • Advanced skills in photography, videography, and content editing.
    • Strong written communication, copywriting, and content creation abilities.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms. Ability to handle and transport camera equipment and other digital tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, creative, and able to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Marketing Manager will be required to work a minimum of 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday unless otherwise necessary. This role may require event attendance on weekends and use of personal car for travel.
