Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Senior Smartsheet Developer with a major corporation in Orlando, FL.
Location Preference: Can be Orlando or remote in the domestic US. If they are remote, they will need to work EST or CST work hours.

Description:
The Senior Platform Engineer PMO Processes and Tools is responsible for solutioning, development, configuration, integrations, implementing, and supporting multiple, complex custom and 3rd party solutions. The Senior Platform Engineer serves as a technical lead and may interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. This resource also conceives, designs, develops, tests, and implements software components, fixes, enhancements, and/or new systems and applications.
The Senior Platform Engineer works in a fast-paced, agile collaborative environment and reports to Sr Manager Technology, Processes & Tools.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Develop reporting solutions to help the business make better decisions, extraction of key data, and creation and management of operational dashboards to continue reviewing the applicable data sets.
2. Design, develop, test and implement new integrations with agile, portfolio, service management, and data visualization platforms (Jira, ServiceNow, Clarity PPM, PowerBI etc.)
3. Leads development of tools, automation, and scripts to facilitate new development, enhancements, platform maintenance, operational efficiency, reliability, and administration.
4. Participates in planning and executing of projects for business unit initiatives and updating existing infrastructure, products and/or services.
5. Provides technical support for multiple levels of testing prior to release of new and enhancements
6. Mentor and coach junior developers and platform engineers
7. Identify root causes of system and resolve independently
8. Collaborate to develop solution roadmaps
9. Engage to define or identify environment requirements/sizing, system architecture including Integration points, configuration, monitoring needs, security compliance, system availability, recovery, and implementation strategies
10. Proactively work to identify and resolve technical blockers
11. Serve as primary technical liaison with vendors and manage vendor related activities such as incidents/bug fixes, release schedules, escalations, issue tracking, system access
12. Proactively ensure compliance with Security standards
13. Create and maintain required system documentation
5 to 8 years' experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications, solutions and systems.
3 to 5 years of progressively related experience in Platform Engineering and/or software development.
Deep understanding of Smartsheet core and advanced applications with an ability to put real solutions in place that maximize the end user experience.
Experience administration, configuring/building solutions in Smartsheet, Data Shuttle, DataMesh and Functions and Formulas, Platform Administrator, etc.
Experience in Smartsheet functional areas like control center, workspaces, power apps, sheets, reports, dashboards, etc.
Strong SQL and JQL query/scripting experience.
Experience in data visualizations and data management
Familiarity with creating solutions that integrate Smartsheet solutions with other services such as JIRA, Clarity, Service Now, PowerBI etc.
Proven experience working as a software developer on an agile delivery team
Experience with the migration of Smartsheet products
General cyber security knowledge and applying them to Smartsheet products
Experience in evaluating and configuring add-ons or plugins
Experience testing and performing upgrades, configuration changes, and applying bug fixes
Ability to automate and extend base Smartsheet functionality, including scripting
Experience with customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports.
Experience working with vendor support and troubleshooting Smartsheet Tools.
Excellent Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the product management and software development lifecycles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstration of critical thinking.
Experience working with suppliers in an outsourced environment
Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.
Experience in large-scale data management and analytics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience.
Experience with project management methodologies (agile, scrum, waterfall).
