Job Details

Supervises, schedules and coordinates all activities of the shipping/receiving warehouse and primary packaging departments.
Directs activities of subordinates and performs all personnel functions for same, i.e. performs reviews, counseling, training, etc.
Train and Supervise up to 6 Warehouse Personnel
Receives, identifies, and stores all raw materials and finished goods.
Operates computer terminal to input or retrieve inventory information.
Complete final preparation for shipping and receiving of finished goods.
Maintains all appropriate paperwork.
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assembles both interdepartmental and intradepartmental.
Establishes completion dates for deliverables and informs appropriate departments.
Following established guidelines oversees the primary and final packaging and shipping of finished goods.
Is responsible for the accurate receipt of all incoming materials and packaging.
Is responsible for efficient warehousing of all production inventory.
In conjunction with the Materials Control Manager performs period closing and annual physical inventory.
Suggests improvements in packaging and material handling to Industrial Engineering Department.
Moves and stores material and finished goods using forklift, hi-low or other material handling equipment.

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent.
Must have 3 to 5 years warehouse/shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing.
Ability to operate a forklift. Must have forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
Must possess good leadership and coaching/training skills.
Must have Lean, Kaizen or 5S
Must have good PC skills.
ISO/QS/TS knowledge preferred.
